Eyja M. Brynjarsdóttir
I am a philosopher at the University of Iceland where I teach at the School of Education. I have worked on various things having to do with metaphysics, philosophy of mind, epistemology, and feminist philosophy, usually centering in one way or another on how the human mind interacts with the world around it. My PhD dissertation at Cornell University was on the metaphysics of sensory properties but my most recent work is within social metaphysics, social epistemology, and feminist philosophy. My book on the ontology of money, The Reality of Money: The Metaphysics of Financial Value will be published by Rowman & Littlefield International in October 2018.
